What Are The Two Halves?

Settlement: The Token You Chose

Every wallet on your account carries a settlement token — a token on a specific chain. You set it under Settings → Edit wallet & settlement, and it is what any payment to you converts into.

They pay in whatever they hold, on whatever chain they hold it on.

Your default wallet, and the settlement token set on it, are the destination.

The payment converts on the way

Whatever arrives becomes your settlement token, in your wallet.
Most people set USDC. It holds its value at about a dollar, so what you were paid is still what you have tomorrow.
Multiple wallets on one account each carry their own settlement token, and one is the account default. Change it any time — it only affects payments that arrive afterwards.

What has to happen depends on how far apart the two sides are. All four are one transaction to approve. moove.xyz selects the route across 37 chains and 16,000+ assets and executes it inside the payment.

Why Do Quotes Move?

A route is priced against live market liquidity and live network conditions, and neither holds still between the moment you see a quote and the moment your transaction confirms. Two tolerances absorb that:
  • Gas — what the blockchain charges to include your transaction. It rises and falls with network congestion, so the amount reserved for it carries a tolerance.
  • The quote itself — the rate a swap or bridge executes at, which moves with market liquidity.
Both tolerances are published as exact figures on the Pricing page. That page is the only place in these docs that carries numbers, so there is one source of truth to keep current.
If a route cannot execute inside its tolerance, the transaction fails rather than filling at a price you did not agree to. Nothing moves; you try again against a fresh quote.
