Moove Handle: The Identifier

Your handle is @yourname. It replaces a wallet address everywhere on moove.xyz: people send to it, search for it and pay it.
  • 3 to 63 characters.
  • Lowercase letters, numbers and underscores only.
  • Unique across moove.xyz, claimed first-come.
One handle can sit in front of several wallets across several chains. The person paying you never needs to know which one — moove.xyz resolves the handle to your default wallet and its settlement token. Moove Handle →

Moove Profile: The Page

Your handle opens a page at moove.xyz/@yourname. That page is your Moove Profile: your username, bio, links, profile image, background, and a control the payer uses to pay you. The important detail is that the payer sets the amount. A Moove Profile is not an invoice — it is an open door. Someone can pay you $5 or $500 from the same page. Aliases: Coming Soon

An alias is a name you own on a decentralised naming service — yourname.eth on Ethereum Name Service, yourname.sol on Solana Name Service — mapped onto your Moove account so people can pay you at either name.
Alias resolution is not live. Nothing on moove.xyz resolves an ENS or SNS name today. Do not give out an alias expecting a payment to reach you.

What Can People Pay Today?

Right now, a payment can be addressed three ways:

A Moove Handle

@yourname. The one to give out.
2

A wallet address

The full on-chain address. Works, but nobody can remember it.
3

A payment link

A URL for a specific amount, created by you. Best for invoices and checkouts.

Can I Change My Moove Handle?

You can change your handle under Your handle — Settings → Your account in the Moove App, or Settings → Edit Moove Profile → Edit profile on the web. Two things to know first:
  • Your old handle is released and someone else can claim it.
  • Any link, invoice or bio pointing at the old handle stops resolving to you.
Change it before you have published it widely, not after.
You can change your handle once every 7 days, and your username once every 7 days. Your bio and images can change at any time — none of these beyond the handle are identifiers.
