# Moove Refer

> Earn 20% of the protocol fees from everyone you refer, and a decaying share from everyone they refer, seven levels deep — claimed in USDC.

Earn from every transaction the people you refer make — and from the people they refer.

## How Does Moove Refer Pay?

Every level earns **20% of the level below it**, so a referral chain pays out as a decaying share of the protocol fee Moove collected.

| **1**   | People you referred directly | **20%**                     |
| **2**   | People *they* referred       | 4%                          |
| **3**   | One level further out        | 0.8%                        |
| **4**   | …                            | 0.16%                       |
| **5–7** | …                            | Smaller again at each level |

<Note>
  **The chain pays seven levels deep.** Beyond level 7 nothing is credited.

  There is no cap on how much you can earn, no cap on how many people you refer, and no expiry — but the depth of the chain itself is limited.

  You earn a share of **protocol fees**, not of the transaction amounts. What is left of a transaction after fees belongs entirely to the people transacting.

## How Do I Get My Referral Link?

    It is built on your handle — `moove.xyz/@yourname/refer`.

  <Step title="Or share a QR code">
    **Share QR code** generates one to show in person or on screen.

Someone signing up can also enter your handle directly at the **Did anyone refer you?** step.

<Tip>
  Your handle is your referral link. Anywhere you already share `@yourname` is a place you are already referring.

## What Counts As Eligible?

A referral earns you a share when the person below you makes a **fee-generating** transaction — one that required a swap or a bridge, or a ramp.

<Note>
  Same-chain, same-token transactions carry no protocol fee, so there is nothing to share. That is not a rule about referrals; it is that the transaction was free.

## How Do I Claim My Rewards?

Rewards accrue to your **referral rewards treasury** and settle in USDC.

    On the web, the Refer **Overview** tab. In the Moove App, **Your rewards treasury** on the **Rewards** screen — one treasury for mission and referral rewards together.

    Tap **Claim now** on the web or **Claim** in the Moove App. You can claim whenever there is an unclaimed balance.

    Claiming is an on-chain transaction, so it costs network gas — and nothing else. See [Pricing](/product-prices/how-product-and-prices-work).

## How Do I Track My Referrals?

In the Moove App, three tabs under Refer:

| Tab               | Shows                                                           |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Referrals**     | Everyone you referred, direct and indirect, with their level    |
| **Daily rewards** | What you earned, day by day                                     |
| **Statistics**    | All-time referral count, all-time rewards, and the last 30 days |

On the web the tabs are **Overview**, **Referrals**, **Daily reward** and **Ambassador kit**, and the level column is labelled **Layer**.

Open any referral for its detail: date, level, all-time transactions, eligible transactions and all-time rewards.

  Referral **count** statistics measure direct referrals only. Referral **rewards** include everything, direct and indirect.

## The Leaderboard

The [Moove Leaderboard](https://www.moove.xyz/leaderboard) ranks Moovers by referral performance. It is a web page — there is no in-app equivalent.

Filter to **All** or just **Moove Ambassador**, and search by `@moovehandle` or wallet address.

## What Is The Moove Ambassador Program?

Moove Ambassadors are Moovers who refer at scale. The reward mechanics are the ones on this page — the same 20% direct, the same indirect share, the same USDC claim. Ambassadors get recognition and perks on top, plus the **Moove Ambassador Kit**: downloadable flyers covering *Moove Explained* and the *Moove Ambassador Program*, for sharing with the people you are bringing in.

Moove Ambassadors carry the Moove Affiliate badge on their Profile. moove.xyz grants it; it is not earned automatically by referring.
