The questions people actually ask.

## Getting Paid

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What are my options for getting paid?">
    Four, depending on how much control you need over the amount.

    |                                                   | Who sets the amount | Where             | Best for                          |
    | ------------------------------------------------- | ------------------- | ----------------- | --------------------------------- |
    | [**Moove Profile**](/brand/moove-profile) | The payer | Web and Moove App | Tips, donations, bio links |
    | [**Your handle or QR code**](/brand/moove-handle) | The payer | Web and Moove App | Being paid in person or in a chat |
    | [**Payment link**](/transact/moove-receive)       | You                 | **Web only**      | Invoices, checkouts, fixed prices |
    | [**The API**](/api-reference/introduction) | You, in code | **Web only** | Your own website or product |

    All four settle to the same wallet, in the same token you chose.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I create a payment link in the Moove App?">
    No. Payment links are **web only** — create them in the Moove Widget at [moove.xyz](https://www.moove.xyz).

    The Moove App's **Receive** screen shares your Moove Handle, your Moove Profile and a QR code instead. Anyone can pay you from those, but they choose the amount.

    A link you created on the web works anywhere, so you can create it once and share it from your phone.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do my customers need a Moove account?">
    No. They open your Profile or payment link, connect any wallet, and pay. No sign-up, no app, no account.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I get paid in a currency my customer does not hold?">
    Yes. They pay in whatever they hold on whatever chain; you receive your [settlement token](/concepts/settlement-and-auto-routing). The swap and bridge run inside their payment.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I take crypto payments on my own website?">
    Yes, through the **payment-link API**.

    <Warning>
      You cannot embed the Moove Widget. Despite the name it is not an embeddable component, and moove.xyz blocks other sites from framing it. The API is the supported path.
    </Warning>

## Standard Or Advanced View?

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What does Advanced view actually change?">
    It adds the one field a merchant needs and a consumer does not.

    |                                | Standard        | Advanced view      |
    | ------------------------------ | --------------- | ------------------ |
    | Amount and token               | Yes             | Yes                |
    | Description shown to the payer | —               | Yes                |
    | Best for                       | Paying a friend | Invoicing a client |

    Find it under the settings icon in the [Moove Widget](/transact/moove-widget#what-is-advanced-view).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is Advanced view a paid tier?">
    No. It is a display toggle — no upgrade, no separate pricing, no entitlement. Turn it on and off freely.

    <Note>
      There are no "Pro" tiers on moove.xyz. If you find older material describing a "Pro" version of any Moove product, it is out of date — no such tier exists or ever shipped.
    </Note>
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Moove Wallet Or A Wallet I Already Have?

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What is the difference?">
    |                         | [Moove Wallet](/brand/moove-wallet) | A connected wallet               |
    | ----------------------- | ----------------------------------- | -------------------------------- |
    | Setup | The Moove App creates it | Already done |
    | Where it works | Moove App only | Web, and the Moove App on Solana |
    | Chains | EVM, Solana, **Bitcoin, Tron** | EVM and Solana |
    | Moove Ramp settles here | Yes | No |
    | Recovery phrase | Yours, shown once at creation | Managed by that wallet |

    Both are non-custodial. Neither gives moove.xyz control of your funds.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I have to choose?">
    No. Add both to the same account and they sit behind the same handle. Set whichever you prefer as the default.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why can I not use Moove Wallet on the web?">
    Its keys are generated and held on your device by the Moove App. There is no web version and no way to sign into moove.xyz with one. Connect a third-party wallet on the web instead.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I hold Bitcoin or Tron?">
    Through Moove Wallet in the Moove App. If your Moove Wallet predates the launch, open the account menu, tap **…** on the wallet under **Your crypto wallets**, then **Enable Bitcoin and Tron**.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Fees

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What does moove.xyz charge?">
    Nothing for same-chain, same-token transactions. A flat protocol fee for anything cross-chain or cross-token, and a separate rate for [Moove Ramp](/transact/moove-ramp).

    Every figure is on the [Pricing](/product-prices/how-product-and-prices-work) page — the only page in these docs carrying fee numbers.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Who pays the fee — me or my customer?">
    Whoever does **not** name the amount.

    * **Payment link** — you name the amount, so your customer covers the fee. You receive exactly what you asked for.
    * **Moove Profile** — the payer names the amount, so the fee comes out of what reaches you. You receive slightly less than the figure they typed.

    On a same-chain, same-token payment there is no fee either way. If you are invoicing for an exact figure, use a [payment link](/transact/moove-receive).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why did I receive slightly less than expected?">
    Three things sit between the amount and what arrives: network gas, the market cost of any swap or bridge, and the protocol fee. The quote shows each of them before you confirm. Afterwards, [Moove Transactions](/manage/moove-transactions) shows what was sent, what arrived, the conversion rate and the on-chain signature.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there a subscription or a monthly minimum?">
    No. No subscription, no monthly minimum, no deposit fee, no hidden spread.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Accounts & Security

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do I need identity verification?">
    Not to move crypto. Sending, receiving, swapping and bridging need no verification at all.

    Verification is only required for [Moove Ramp](/transact/moove-ramp), because a licensed partner handles the local-currency leg and is legally required to know who it is paying.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can moove.xyz freeze or take my funds?">
    No. Every wallet is non-custodial — the keys are yours and the funds sit on-chain. There is no Moove balance to freeze.

    [Non-custodial Wallets →](/concepts/non-custodial-wallets)
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I lost my recovery phrase. Can you recover my wallet?">
    <Warning>
      No. The recovery phrase never leaves your device — moove.xyz cannot see it, reset it or recover it. Without it the wallet is permanently inaccessible. There is no support process that changes this.
    </Warning>
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I change my handle?">
    Yes, under **Settings → Your account** in the Moove App, or **Settings → Edit Moove Profile → Edit profile** on the web. Your old handle is released for anyone to claim, and links pointing at it stop resolving to you — so do it before you have published it widely. You can change it once every 7 days.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I have more than one wallet?">
    Yes. Several wallets sit behind one handle, each with its own settlement token, and one is the account default.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## What Is & Is Not Live

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Is the API live?">
    Yes. `https://api.moove.xyz` serves payment-link creation and listing today.

    [API Reference →](/api-reference/introduction)
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do ENS and SNS names work?">
    <Warning>
      Not yet. Nothing on moove.xyz resolves `yourname.eth` or `yourname.sol` today. Use your Moove Handle.
    </Warning>

    [Supported Naming Services →](/platform-support/supported-naming-services)
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I stake on moove.xyz?">
    No. [Moove Stake](/transact/moove-stake) is in design and has no launch date, no supported assets and no pricing.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where can I use Moove Ramp?">
    Nigeria (buy and sell), and Australia and Hong Kong (buy only, by card), in the Moove App. The web page previews the rate; the conversion completes in the Moove App.

    [Supported Fiat Currencies →](/platform-support/supported-fiat-currencies)
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Are perpetual and custom payment links available?">
    Not yet. Both are announced but not built.

    What ships today is the one-off link. In the widget it is always single-use and never expires; through the [API](/api-reference/moove-receive/moove-payment-links) you can set your own usage cap and expiry.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which agents exist for Moove Agentic Payments?">
    Only the **Moove Receive Agent**. Moove Send, Moove Swap and Moove Ramp Agents are announced and appear disabled in the picker.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there an SDK?">
    Not yet. The API is a plain HTTP API and works from any language today.

    [SDKs →](/sdks/introduction)
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there a browser extension?">
    On its way. Today it is the web app and the Moove App.
  </Accordion>
