# Moove Wallet

> The non-custodial wallet built into the Moove App. One recovery phrase, every supported chain — every EVM network, Solana, Bitcoin and Tron.

Create a Moove Wallet in the Moove App and reach every supported chain from one recovery phrase.

<Info>
  **Moove App only.** Moove Wallet cannot be used on the web. On [moove.xyz](https://www.moove.xyz) you connect a wallet you already have instead.
</Info>

## What Does Moove Wallet Cover?

All four network families, from a single recovery phrase:

| Family  | Covers                                                                                        |
| ------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **EVM** | Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, BNB and every other EVM chain moove.xyz supports |
| **SVM** | Solana                                                                                        |
| **BVM** | Bitcoin                                                                                       |
| **TVM** | Tron                                                                                          |

<Note>
  Bitcoin and Tron run through Moove Wallet. Connected third-party wallets cover the EVM chains and Solana — see [Supported Wallets](/platform-support/supported-wallets).

## How Do I Create A Moove Wallet?

<Steps>
  <Step title="Tap Sign up">
    Open the Moove App and tap **Sign up**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Claim your handle and username">
    Your `@moovehandle` and a display name. Add a profile image, or skip it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save your recovery phrase">
    The Moove App shows 12 words and tells you plainly: *it never leaves this device — it's the only way to restore your wallet.*
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm you wrote it down">
    You pick the correct word for specific positions to prove you saved it. Tick **I have written down my recovery phrase** and continue.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Your recovery phrase **is** your wallet.

  * Anyone with access to it can control your wallet and funds.
  * Never share it with anyone.
  * Lose it and you lose access to the wallet and its funds permanently. moove.xyz cannot recover it.
</Warning>

## How Do I View My Recovery Phrase Later?

Open the account menu → **Your crypto wallets**, tap **…** on the wallet, then **Show recovery phrase**. The Moove App makes you read three warnings and confirm you understand the consequences of losing it before it shows anything.

Once visible you can **Show recovery phrase** / **Hide recovery phrase**, or **Copy to clipboard**.

<Tip>
  When you copy it, the Moove App tells you the phrase *will be cleared from your clipboard shortly*. That is deliberate — a recovery phrase sitting in a clipboard is a recovery phrase any other app can read.
</Tip>

## How Do I Import A Wallet I Already Have?

Open the account menu and tap **+** next to **Your crypto wallets** → **Import wallet**. Paste the 12-word recovery phrase of a wallet you own and it joins your Moove account.

Two things the Moove App will tell you if they apply:

* A phrase already registered to a Moove Wallet cannot be imported again. If that wallet is on your account, open it from your wallet list and tap **Activate** to use it on this device.
* An invalid phrase is rejected before anything happens.

## How Do I Enable Bitcoin & Tron On An Existing Wallet?

Wallets created before Bitcoin and Tron shipped need one opt-in step.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Your crypto wallets">
    In the account menu, tap **…** on the Moove Wallet you want to extend.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap Enable Bitcoin and Tron">
    The screen explains that both chains are derived from this wallet's existing recovery phrase.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap Enable">
    Your existing EVM and Solana addresses are untouched. Two new addresses appear.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Once a chain is enabled, it cannot be turned off.
</Warning>

Nothing new to write down: the Bitcoin and Tron keys come from the phrase you already have.

## Security & Privacy

**Settings → Security & privacy.**

| Setting                                                         | What it does                                                                                                                                    |
| --------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Use Face ID authentication** or **Use device authentication** | One toggle. It requires Face ID on devices with facial recognition, and your device passcode or biometrics otherwise, before sensitive actions. |

<Note>
  If the toggle refuses to turn on, the Moove App will tell you biometrics are not enrolled — turn them on in your device settings first, then come back.
</Note>

## Removing A Wallet & Removing Your Account

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Remove a wallet">
    On the web, **Settings → Edit Moove Profile → Edit wallet & settlement → Delete wallet** unlinks a connected wallet that is not your default. Despite the label it does not destroy the wallet and does not move any funds.

    The Moove App does not remove Moove Wallets one at a time — see below.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Remove your account">
    **Settings → Security & privacy → Remove account** removes all non-custodial wallets under the account.

    <Warning>
      Back up your recovery phrase before continuing. Without it, the wallets are unrecoverable.
    </Warning>
  </Accordion>

## Your Recovery Phrase Works Anywhere

Moove Wallet uses standard derivation paths. Your recovery phrase restores in any compatible wallet, whether or not you ever open moove.xyz again — and that stays true regardless of what moove.xyz does with the product.

## How Do I Fund My Moove Wallet?

**Wallet address** in the Moove App shows the address to send crypto to, so you can fund it from a wallet you already use. You can also receive from someone else, or buy with local currency through [Moove Ramp](/transact/moove-ramp).

<Tip>
  **Scan QR code** opens the camera to read a wallet address or Moove QR code, so you can pay or be paid without typing an address.
