# Moove Handle

> Claim @yourname and get paid at a name instead of a wallet address — across every chain moove.xyz supports.

Your Moove Handle is `@yourname`. It is how people find you, how they pay you, and what every other Moove product hangs off. Behind it can sit several wallets on several chains — the person paying you never has to know which.

## How Do I Create A Moove Handle?

        Open [moove.xyz](https://www.moove.xyz) and connect MetaMask, Phantom, Base, Trust, Solflare or Backpack.

        Type it into the sign-up form, then tap **Create profile**. Availability is checked as you type.

      <Step title="Sign to confirm">
        Sign the message your wallet shows. It proves you own the address — it is not a transaction and costs nothing.

        On **Create @moovehandle**, type it.

## What Are The Rules?

| **Length**      | 3 to 63 characters                        |
| **Allowed**     | Letters, numbers and underscores          |
| **Not allowed** | Spaces, full stops, hyphens, symbols      |
| **Uniqueness**  | One holder per handle, claimed first-come |

If a handle is taken, the form tells you so before you can submit.

<Note>
  Your **handle** is your identifier. Your **username** is a separate display name with looser rules — it may contain hyphens, and it is not unique. Changing your username changes nothing about how you get paid.

## Where Can I Use My Moove Handle?

## Can I Change My Moove Handle Later?

You can change your handle under **Your handle** — **Settings → Your account** in the Moove App, or **Settings → Edit Moove Profile → Edit profile** on the web. You can change it once every 7 days.

  Changing your handle releases the old one for anyone else to claim, and every link, invoice or bio pointing at it stops resolving to you. Do it early, not after you have published it.

## One Moove Handle, Several Wallets

Add more wallets to the same account and they all sit behind the same handle. One is your default, and that is where payments to your handle settle.

Set the default under **Settings → Edit Moove Profile → Edit wallet & settlement** on the web, or with **Set default** under **Your crypto wallets** in the Moove App. The Moove App confirms it applies *across all platforms* — web and mobile stay in step.
